This story was inspired by addiction and a friend's experience with anxiety. I also suffer from anxiety/panic attacks from time to time.copyright protection215PENANASynPKLR6pn

The most popular girl in high school, Julianne, has kept her anxiety a secret from even her best friend, Maddie, and boyfriend Luke. During a school dance, her secret is uncovered.copyright protection215PENANAH7ybwkPIvv

Julianne must learn how to live her life as her real self, and accept who she is. She must learn how to not fear the labels of "crazy" and/or "mentally ill."copyright protection215PENANAr8fkSrH3hi

Will she be an example for others or will she give in and accept being known as a freak?copyright protection215PENANAn9QLZAxQHX

Rosemary Dawson - I also have a very minor anxiety and it lead up to depression and social phobia. Its still there, and very less people irl know about it. I hope your friend gets better! :)

Jennifer - Thank you so much!

That is so hard to deal with. Depression can be very tricky at times, because some days you just don't feel like fighting it, but keep going for it, you are a very talented writer.

I've learned that writing makes me feel better. Does it help you too?

Rosemary Dawson - @Jennifer, Yes! I've been having my disorders before I even knew Penana. I'm very grateful for the existence of Penana because it gives me exactly what I need to create another universe and make bring the story to life! Writing on Penana makes me forget all of my worries and problems! Thanks for the compliment!
