"...Miss, can you hear me?... Miss?"
I groaned, my body felt limp and worn as if I'd never stopped moving. The warmth and darkness that I'd felt had been heaven, I wanted that back. I needed that back.
"...Miss? She's still unresponsive, get the syringe."
I felt a sharp prick on my arm and gasped. Wide awake, I winced against all the white in the room. There was a large window across the cot that I was lying on and I was lying on my back, propped up by a couple of pillows.
"Miss, can you tell me your name?"
I turned my head until I was facing a woman standing next to the bed holding a clipboard and pen. She wore a long white coat and had glasses on.
I looked down at my arm and almost screamed.
Attatched to my arm was several thin tubes with needles that were buried in my skin.
"Wh-what is this? Where am I?" I shouted. I grabbed a fistful of the tubes and ripped them out, each one leaving behind a stinging sensation.
"No, no, no!" The lady said, holding out her arms to stop me. "Miss, please stop! Somebody, please help me here!"
I sat up and swung my legs over the bed until I stood up. Blood rushed to my head and spots blurred my vision as I tumbled onto the floor.
More people entered the room, all wearing strange green-ish uniforms. One of them stooped down and I felt another needle pierce the back of my neck before I slumped down, unconscious.ns 18.104.22.168da2
