A Toy Model Car Named Stacyis my short story collection about love. Written for NaNoWriMo 2015.
Not the most polished stories, but they contain messages I wanted to convey in an unpolished way.
In remembrance of my grand mother. Although she is not a fictional character, the story of her life is just as amazing.
Hope you guys will like it!
"Ideas come fast, but they take time to flourish."
I will use this blog to "run" my ideas and inspirations. I will also link some of my sketches (although I am not too good at drawing) and photos to make it read a bit like a magazine.
The cover pic is my idea sketch book:)
Drawing on his success on publishing his debut Young Adult novel, The Color of Darkness(TCOD), YA author Andrew Knight talks about his writing aspirations and his experience with Penana to gain readership and increase his motivation to finish the novel.
I am privileged to be one of his first readers of TCOD and have the chance to interview him.
A narrative short story that I wrote during my freshmen year. Quite funny when I look back now ;)
This book will be a collection of stories scenes either from my dream (day dream or nightmares) and life experience, which I hope can be adapted to short films in the future :)
Dreams are usually fragmented and have hidden meanings.
If you are interested in contributing yours or polish my scenes, just send me a join request!
P.S. Write down your dream and random thoughts...They can be quite powerful :)
Many people think creative writing is not a serious activity. However, I would like to defy - The process of creating and writing is in fact a form of revolution itself.
Characters make the Stories. No matter how intriguing the idea or exciting the plot, if there isn't a character that we care about, the rest of it falls flat.
In this story anthology, I hope to write about the characters that live in my mind. I will give each of them a code that starts with a "R" . And "R" represents "Revolution".
I will open this to a collaboration piece later so that some people can also participate.
