ALTERNATE UNIVERSE is an album I wrote as a response to the way I felt I was being used by men as a receptacle and object of pleasure. Even though it was written during the beginning of 2024, the emotions explored through the album had been accumulating for years, pent up but never released - until I channelled them into words.
ALTERNATE UNIVERSE, however, doesn't just see me tackle what had been weighing me down for years. Characters were created that are on either end of the lust scale - some sensual while others are more chaste. While these aren't the only characters on the album, they are the ones that rule most of the tracklist - the ones embodying my disdain for hookup culture, as well as those representing my search for love admist it.
ALTERNATE UNIVERSE also circles around a particular fling that I had at the beginning of 2024, and my yearning for it to have had a different outcome. Thus, the title of the album was born; ALTERNATE UNIVERSE is my desire to see things follow a different route that it ended up going down.
That said, I hope you enjoy the journey I crafted by using futuristic images mixed in with my own thoughts, feelings and experiences. Thank you to everyone who has already engaged with ALTERNATE UNIVERSE, you reading it really means a lot to me.

FIEFDOM FALL is a concept album I wrote that explores my constant battle with my identity as a queer person, the relationship I have with my parents and the role religion plays in both of the above.
FIEFDOM FALL is very personal to my own experience as a cisgender gay man who grew up in a strict and conservative environment, navigating my queerness in secrecy. However, I do not intend for you as a reader to feel like you're looking into my life from the outside. Thus, I created a main protagonist that represents me throughout the album.
FIEFDOM FALL doesn't solely focus on my constant battles, there are also a few side quests sprinkled into the narrative - most notably, heartbreak. During the writing process of FIEFDOM FALL I had several relationships, until I thought I found the one. Unfortunately, close to the completion of the project, we had a fallout and he became immortalized through the project.
In conclusion, FIEFDOM FALL is one of my most vulnerable bodies of work and I feel very passionate about sharing it with you. I hope you find meaning in the dissection of myself via the Chinese imagery I've used throughout the project and I thank you for your engagement.
