I woke up. I grabbed my phone at check the time. 3 am. I decided to text Allison, since she always seemed to be awake really early.
Kayla: Hiya!
Allison: Hey!
Kayla: What's up? :P
Allison: Nothing much..
Allison: Hey, can i meet you up tomorrow at my house? I need to talk to you about something..
I froze.
Kayla: Yeah, sure, of course!
Allison: Great. Well, goodnight!
Kayla: Gnight!
And with that, I fell asleep, the most nervous I've ever been in a while.
It was 8 am. I don't know why you care, but whatever. I got dressed, grabbed my phone and bag, and went over to Allison's house. I wonder what she wanted.
I arrived, and knocked at the door. She answered almost immediately. "Hey Kayla. Come in." I followed her inside. Allison's house was as familiar to me as the back of my own hand. We sat down on the couch, and she gave me this look. A look I'd never seen before. It actually made me slightly uncomfortable.
"Hey, Kayla, can I tell you something?" The feeling I got told me that I knew exactly what was going to happen. "Sure Allison, what is it?" She looked down at her hands, then back at me. "I..
"I think we should break up."
I felt like I had just been stabbed by a million needles. My heart felt like it had shattered. "Oh.." "Don't get me wrong! You're a great person, it's just that... I don't think I can handle a relationship right now, y'know?" I nodded, holding back my tears.
Allison hugged me, and we sat like that for a while. Then, she stood up, and took my hand. "Wanna take one last walk together?" I nodded, and took her hand.
Cheesy, I know, but hey, that's just the kind of person that Allison was. We walked back to my house together, not speaking at all.
...
We finally made it to my house. The walk seemed longer than usual. I dont know why I told you that; its not like youre gonna do anything with that useless piece of information.
Allison and I waved goodbye. She crossed over the street, and-
Oh no. No, no, no. No. I was filled with sadness and disbelief. I ran over to the middle of the street, over to Allison's limp body. She had been hit by a car. "Allison?! Allison, speak to me!" I was crying. I didnt want Allison to die.
I checked her pulse. Nothing. I didnt want to leave just yet, but there was a crowd of people around me and they could probably help. "Allison, Im so sorry.." I decided now was a good time to leave, as people were staring at me. As soon as I stood up, I felt extremely dizzy.
"You think you can just apologize, Kayla?" A shrill voice echoed in my head. The voice laughed. "TOO LATE." Before I could say anything, I was engulfed in darkness.727Please respect copyright.PENANASTYLrshH73
