I woke up in some kind of void. It honestly wasn't half bad though. I liked the dark. I kept walking around, until I heard a voice.
"Your fault." I turned to where I thought the voice had come from, but there was no one there. "Hello?!" I called out. "Your fault." The voice said again. "What? No, it wasn't my fault, it wasn't my-" "Your fault. Your fault. Your fault." This time there were multiple voices, all ringing in my head all at once. "No... no..."
Now, I'm guessing as a reader, you cant truly grasp what this feels like. But if you can, or have done so before, congrats, you have felt what I like to call "Mind Hell".
Suddenly, there was a shrill voice, coming from a girl probably around my age.
"YOUR FAULT." She yelled. And then there was silence.
A tall figure came before me. "Heh heh.. I know why you're here, Kayla Andersen.." The voice was coming from a guy. But more specifically, who? Did I know him? "You want to bring back your dead 'girlfriend', if you can even call her that.
"You know, you always were kind of a disappointment. Ha ha.." I felt myself getting stiff. You, my dear reader, better be glad that you are safe behind that screen of yours.
"Where am I? What are you going to do to me?!" I was horrified. "Oh, Kayla.. Sweet, sweet, precious Kayla.." I didnt like this at all. I could feel my face getting hot. I wish this was more like the AFAC blog and you readers could help me out with the power of memes. But sadly, that wasnt real, and no amount of wishing could make it come true.
"Im not going to do anything to you." I felt as if he was lying to me, but I let him continue. "I just want to make a deal." No. I've watched enough television shows to know you should never make deals with demons. "No! Im not going to do it!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "You havent even heard the deal yet!" He kind of laughed. "Listen. I'll let you have your normal life back." I felt overjoyed. "Really?!" He smiled. "Of course! But," I felt my heart sink. "It comes with a price."
Now, I was pretty exhausted, so I decided to listen to what he had to say. "Ill bring you back, but the catch is, no one will remember you. At all. And you have one week to get them to, or you'll have to live here in the void, FOREVER."
No one?! At all?! Actually, this sounded like a pretty good deal. "Y-yeah.. Sure.." He smiled. "Wonderful! Well, see ya on the flip side!" "Wait, was that a-" I couldnt finish my sentence, as I was sent back to reality. Wow, even demons watch TV. I started to miss the darkness and warmth of the void, though.
I was walking back to my home, I spotted someone. Wait.. was that.. Nia? "Hey, Nia! Nia its me!" I ran after her. I went to give her a hug, but she pushed me off of her. "Excuse me? Who even are you?" My smile faded. "Its me. Your best friend Kayla.. Don't you remember me?" She gave me a stern look, one I had never seen ever before.
"Listen here. I dont know who you are, but just leave me alone, alright? I have to go meet my girlfriend, Cassie." And with that, she walked away.
That's when I remembered. She doesn't remember me, does she? Right. So I have to get her to. However, this isn't a fairy-tale, this is real life. And in real life, you cant always have the happy ending you wish for.695Please respect copyright.PENANAAuxNTtKsQy
