Our Recursive Romance

I am a reader first and foremost. I've actually just finished my PhD in materials science engineering with a focus on computational materials. But during all of that work an idea for a story just bubbled up in me. So, I began to write. Our recursive romance is the only story I'm working on cause let's be real my life is too crazy for any other sort of inspiration to hit me. But I hope that if your here reading this you're thinking of giving my story a chance. I would love feedback because while I'm not really expecting to get published or make any sort of money from it, art is art and as an artist I want to strive to perfect what I put out there.

In a future where scientists stand ready to push the evolution of the human species by eliminating the human drive for romantic love, one grad student questions the effect romantic love has already had on our society and how eliminating it might effect the future. To answer that question she has created two programs, but when their love is recursive she may discover something more --- This is a series of short stories with an over-arching plot line, much like The Martian Chronicles or The Painted Man by Ray Bradbury only way more romance. Although to be honest I don't know if this is a Science Fiction parading as a Historical Romance or a Historical Romance parading as a Science Fiction. Help me figure it out by giving it a read and let me know what you think.
