As a stay home father of four wonderful children and the recipient of a rare form of an autoimmune disorder known as Multifocal Motor Neuropathy, my life is a constant adventure day to day. Life is truly wonderful and never boring in the life of a father!

The Void, mother of all that was, created two sons, Order, and Chaos, to bring substance to her. A war will be sparked off that between the twins that will, in the end, consume their mother. Out of the ashes of her corpse, the third and final Plane, that of physical existence would be born. Here they would wage a war that would span eons and worlds, till it would finally fall upon a seemingly insignificant planet. Bearing the name of its immortal caregiver, the Grim, Order fashioned him to defend this bastion of life from the hands of Chaos. His brother would play on the infant immortals fear of annihilation, and tempt him into the sacrilegious act of mating with mortals. When Order scrambles to try to right the injustice and preserve the balance, it is thought that all is well, but sins will always come back to haunt the Father. Now it will be up to another of his sons, many millennia down the road, to answer for his Father's wrongs, as the race for the Throne of the Underworld begins in Book One of The World of Grim. I decided it was time for a new blurb:-P.

This is the poem that inspired my book The Curse of the Reaper and the World of Grim. It started as a poetry assignment for my homeschooled children for Halloween. It is in a classic tale form as one would hear sitting around a fire, in oral tradition. Read and enjoy the poem about one of the first reapers in the World of Grim. Edit Note: For anyone that has previously read it, sorry for the slight grammar, it is hard to type with a one year old assisting.

Buying land and starting a homestead sounded like a wonderful way to escape the city life that plagues so many, but when tragedy strikes, times get tough, and morals slowly erode. What is that one thing you will be willing to do to survive? What about the one thing you are sworn against? That line in the sand will be crossed, the threshold breached, and the other side of the door explored, that dark place that is the feral human instinct of survival will be laid bare.

This story once more came about from a science discussion. An article on the web spurred a discussion about the possibilities of what life would be like on a moon orbiting a planet that controlled its length of day. My son inspired this story and it is for him that it is wrote. I had the prologue and the first two chapters wrote when my computer crashed and devoured it.

Return to Eden is set in the not so far distant future. Based on some real technology that we currently have in some form or fashion, man is now in the cosmos. If you are expecting Star whatever please look elsewhere. Wars have torn the Earth apart figuratively, leaving it under the control of the only ones who would profit from such a calamity, big corporations. They now own they world powers and they run the world like a business. War is no longer profitable but people are. Now the Command Corp has been dispatched to check in on the progress of all the colonies that were supposed to be established before the fall of the Nations. These people were sent out on pre-lightspeed ships that took generations to reach their destinations and so far none have survived. The final colony, Eden III, the farthest out colony, is due for their visit. The E.S.S Western Star has been dispatched to investigate their progress and see to their needs but what they will find will haunt the crew for the remainder of their lives.

Book Two in the World of Grim picks up with Damon struggling to accept his fate as the new Grim and now the leader in the ageless war of Order versus Chaos. Now him, along with his soul brother Faldo, the giant Marlin, Damon's Zealot mother Bethel, and the stalwart Captain Wallace, they face down the Resistance and Damon's Elder Brother, the Seed of Destruction, Baine.

This one is for my daughter. She talked me into it (again) and it is her favorite genre of books. So, Bet, this one is for you.

The true-bloods, the masters, they came first. That was hammered into Heath's head since he could walk with both words and fists by Karen. As a guardian and half-blood bastard of his vampire father, he would never know peace. His duty as a dhampir, his duty was clear, his fate sealed. Heath was to serve Gerald, an aging Vampire Lord, one who was of pure blood, born to the race, until Heath outlived his prime and then he would pass on the knowledge that was passed to him onto a new bastard to carry protecting the bloodline.

But was it necessarily his fate? Could a sterile half breed such as himself, someone who did not exist in the human world, live anywhere in the world on the light? After a particularly nasty encounter with his Mentor, Heath is on the run. Set on not becoming the new guardian and knowing that decision has now marked him for death. The hunt is on and somewhere behind him is Joshua, the heir of his Master, and the thing that plagues his nightmare, his Mentor Karen.

One Welcome to the World of Grim. I decided to make a blog now that I am done releasing all the materials that I had previously had typed. To date, I have tried to release a minimum of three chapters a week, not including corrections. Well the short is, I am back to writing chapters. That in itself is not a big deal.

During the process of writing the Curse of the Reaper, my chapters exceeded ten thousand words. I had seven beta readers that I would still manage to send out one chapter a week. Now that I have shortened those chapters to two thousand to two thousand five hundred, putting out a chapter or two a week still shouldn't be all that bad EXCEPT...

I am currently working with an editor on Book One. You will see at the beginning of the prologue that her screen name is noted. With that in mind, it is taking quite a bit of my time. Her style of editing is side by side with the writer. It is helpful but also time-consuming. I still have a goal of at least one chapter per week at a minimum. I don't want to disappoint anyone here or the beta readers who have waited patiently during the role out on the web for me to continue with Book Two. So, onward farther into battle for the Throne of Grim.
