The weekend was over, and Brian was able to get some well-deserved rest and was now back at home doing homework from the weekend. Early tomorrow morning, he had to get to the charity event. He looked at his phone, opening his texts. He saw a few of them Angela had sent him during the day. He opened them and saw a long list of messages from her, mostly talking about his performance in the stunts.
Brian: Hey Angela?
Angela: yes?
Brian: I'm back home, I was just wondering if you took any pictures today? I would love to see them.
Angela: I did take a few pictures, but they're mostly selfies of me and Lena on set.
Brian: Oh.
Angela: Did you want them? I won't tell Lena. ;)
Brian: Why would not have to tell her ???"
Angela: Brian you are a growing boy after all it's only right to be attracted to beautiful young women. ;:)
Brian: NO, Not for that reason! I just wanted to have something to remember the day.
Angela: a memento?
Brian: Yeah, you know, something to keep on an album
Angela:Aw you're adorable :)
Brian: Angela...
Brian felt his face heat up, shaking it quickly he was able to focus again
Angela: call me Angie. All my friends do.
Brian: but everyone in Overwatch calls you Angela
Angela: Not that type of friend, Brian. ;)
Angie stopped typing and instead Brian sighed, getting up from his chair. Only to hear the repeated dinging of notifications from his phone. It worried Brian how often Angie would use emoticons when she could just use emojis, but nope "I think It's because when she was younger they were used ironically because of how primitive they were then it just stuck." he remembered Lena describing it simply as "it's like using slang ironically then it becomes unironic." he remembered Lena talking about it earlier.
Brian stared at his computer, "I could ask my friends for some advice." he went to sit at his computer

Angela finally was able to sit down, taking off her heels and black pants and lifting her shirt, and covering herself with a nightgown laughing "You're such an old lady." she remembered Lena had laughed when she helped her move in for the first time. Originally, Lena had lived in the spacious apartment herself but eventually hearing that Angela was moving to the city, Lena had excitedly presented her with the idea of sharing the apartment.
Grabbing her phone, Angela sat down on the couch in the living room, scrolling through her messages, the chaos that erupted in the group chat she reveled in it every time she saw Amelie get peeved at everyone's different experiences with the newbie. "He's not that great," Hana said
Amelie: What's your problem?
Hana: He's just not that impressive in the stunts department.
Lena: He looked pretty good today.
Amelie: You're talking about the stunts, right?
Hana: Lena the perv (ㆆ_ㆆ)
Lena: I'm not! He's got skills! We could have used him way back when.
Angela: I'm not sure Morrison would have appreciated having a boy toy as an ally.
Amelie: This is a new type of attack.
Lena: You two are so cute together
Hana: God, they were inseparable.
Amelie: We were not!
Lena: (˘︹˘) could have fooled me.
Amelie: I should be asking you about inseparability, considering you were the one that took him home.
Hana: Lena the cougar (≖_≖)
Lena: No way! I was just a concerned citizen ᕙ('▿')ᕗ
Angela: I don't know, you seemed kinda excited to see where he lived. I saw you staring at him ;)
Lena: I was not! He drank a lot, and I was concerned for his safety.
Hana: yeah, probably spent a lot of time watching his six, huh?
Lena: You're not funny!
Hana: is the game still on?
Lena: I'm winning.
Hana: I still don't like this.
Angela lowered the volume of her phone, seeing the group chat was about to turn to a call, she covered herself with a blanket before answering. "Hello?" She said hearing the arguing of her friends. "You guys shouldn't be messing with him like this!" Hana yelled, "we aren't messing with him!" Lena replied, "you all keep manipulating him!" Hana said, "I'm not manipulating him" Amelia whispered, "yeah you all are literally betting on whom he's going to fall for and go on a date with." Hana continued, "what happens after all this is over with, are you just going to ghost him once you get your date?" Lena looked away, "we aren't harming him, it's just some fun." Hana scowled, "fun is a little too nice of a word for what you're doing." Amelia said. "Amelia, what about you, I never took you for the type of person to hurt someone just for fun." Hana said, "I'm not trying to hurt him." Amelia replied. Angela smiled, "I'm not trying to hurt him, either. He's a good stuntman, I like keeping his company. " Lena left the call, "I don't like what you all are doing if you all keep messing with him, he's going to catch feelings then you all are going to have to tell him you've been lying to him."

Amelia lived a quiet life in her home due to her skills in ballet and admittedly makeup, she had managed to hide her appearance and blend in on the stage at least. She was a very private person, so often her fellow stage mates would not pry into her personal life and past. But something she would never admit to was that she, in all her pride. Was lonely before the party the last time she talked to someone outside of ballet was days before, most of it was just her and herself alone.
But outside the party on that balcony outside the room full of talking people, she was fine. It hurt her more than she felt surrounded by people she knew and cared for yet the feeling never seemed to go away. Then there was someone, someone who didn't see her for her looks or her past, someone who just listened. A man who made her feel like someone was listening to her not to take her to bed or because they had shed blood together. But someone who looked at her just because they cared as much about hearing her as she cared about being heard.

And because of that, she wasn't going to let this one go.
