Switzerland was cold, that's what Hana remembered most, lots of grass and more wide open spaces than she had ever seen before. From Hong Kong to Moscow to Warsaw to Munich to Bern, the Swiss capital. The team of members who were assigned to guard and monitor the group was made up of a mixture of psychologists technical engineers and former military so-and-so's most of which in casual clothes but wearing heavy coats which even though they tried to keep it hidden she knew they were armed.
The complex where delta was held weren't just a group of buildings. It was a series of multiple subterranean chambers which requires phones tablets even headphones and ancient mp3 players to be taken away and kept in a sealed chamber until the group was ready to leave once everything was completed. The place where Delta was "contained" looked more like a pokeball than a prison, it was a massive chrome cube with a single blue light in it stuck on it like a coaster someone glued to its side. Small spherical drones flew around it, constantly scanning the outer shell of the case, when the kids stood on a small steel lift which took them to an incredibly uncomfortable looking simulator the shell seemed to open like a clam. The upper torso of what she recognized as an Omnic seemed to jolt to life and immediately hunched over, several wires from the simulator seemed to lurch from its motherboard and injected themselves into the omnic.
Hana was the first to enter the simulation

"Fareeha you know this is screwed up right?" Hana leaned back in her leather seat, Fareeha who was currently laying on the floor in an old shirt and shorts staring at the ceiling just looked at her. "Yes." she said, Fareeha sat up, her legs hugged to her chest, "why do you care so much about this?" Hana said, "it's just wrong." "But you seem personally invested" "I just don't like this sort of thing." "Catfishing?" "No, manipulation." Hana looked at her "he seems like a nice kid, he's young though who knows what he's thinking. I mean, imagine you're in his shoes you're invited to a party with all your heroes they get you drunk then you wake up dazed and confused than they get all flirty you catch feelings then they ghost you. It's horrible." Fareeha thought about it for a moment, "come on Hana you know that the girls aren't like that he seems nice enough, and it's not like he's some sort of little monster, I'm sure someone is going to fall head over heels for him." Hana shook her head, "Fareeha you know I was a gaming streamer right?" "Yes?" "But I was also the pilot for the mecha program. I was 14 when I started piloting. For most of my teenage years, I essentially belonged to my country. I tried my best to deal with it, so I drowned myself in video games. Then after years and years of building a reputation as some spunky streamer who moonlighted as a superhero once I actually got to fight it all broke down. Your wing got grazed during the "battle of the hybrids" and I wasn't able to help you because by the time I was able to get there, everyone was down. Angela, Lena, You, Reinhardt, Brigitte, the only way I was able to get there in time to wait for Genji and the others to arrive was because Morrison was able to buy some time, but he didn't make it because of it! I was the one who made the mistake of being late, and everyone suffered because of it! The commanders said I was the best of the best, an ace and all that other crap, but in the end, I couldn't even save one person when the cards were down, and they were all counting on me." Fareeha got up from the floor and walked over to Hana sitting down and resting Hana's head on her shoulder. "I don't want to see someone get all built up and then broken down. It hurts." Hana looked up at her, "Hana it's not going to be like that, I promise. What you went through is nothing like what's happening now. They might be building him up, but I'm sure they aren't going to hurt him." Hana looked up at Fareeha "please help me make sure that doesn't happen." Fareeha took Hana's hand, squeezing it for a moment, "ill help you, but you can't keep treating him like dirt." Hana sighed "fine.

Fareeha spent the light on the couch while Hana took the futon which she had brought from the base. Fareeha had brought her clothes from her apartment, they were already laid out on the table, while Hana had just grabbed a pink bunny shirt and shorts she found in one of her many duffle bags.
Brian left his computer and, checked the time was 11 at night, he dropped into his bed and fell asleep.

Amelia had prepared an outfit for the next day, skinny denim jeans and a royal purple button-down dress shirt seemed like a great fit. She was ready for the next day.
Angela knew the run was tomorrow, but she also knew that Brian had classes in the morning. so in her cheekiness, she planned something devious.

Lena held her head in her hands trying to shake some thoughts away, she knew it sounded stupid, but her parents always told her it was like shaking an etch-a-sketch clean. "She wasn't a manipulator!" she thought Brian was nice, they were just friends, weren't they? A little date wouldn't hurt, can't people just go on something casual? Why did it have to be weird? Lena didn't know what to feel, she had never really dated guys, but she felt something for him. She didn't know, maybe she just liked how playful he was with her, someone to match her, someone to actually compete with. Lena knew she'd have to think about this.
