Hi! So I'm writing a series of poems based on mythical creatures from around the world. Does anyone happen to have any interesting suggestions? So far I have written about a nymph, a kelpie, the Black Dog of England, and the Kraken.

How about the Banshee, a skinwalker, or a Wendigo?

You could add the hell hound, (Is that what you mean by black dog?) or Apophis. The Norse fire giants are always appreciated =)

Sort of =)  I've heard of it being called the black shuck though, but I will have to look those others up for sure!

There's tons you could do, but I would turn to Greece and Rome for a lot, as they have so many to choose from. Japan also has some interesting mythology, and Nose stuff is always really weird and interesting.

I honestly was trying to less from Greece/Rome since those are pretty well known by most, but I will for sure include some =)
