So I've got a thing for word-wars. It helps get through the deepest ruts for me when I'm writing. Not because of the war, but it's because I want to have *something* for the person I'm word warring with when the time limit is up, so it forces me to keep going even when I feel all dried up. So if you want to try this, go ahead. Here's how it works for those who don't already know:

You simply choose a starting time to word war (don't use hours, only minutes because many of us will be in different time zones). So choose for instance, :55 or :20. Something easy like fives or tens work best. Then choose an ending time (the most normal time is 10 minutes, so from :20 to :30 would be the assumption). Then when you start, you write until you get to the ending time, and then you can post what you wrote for the other person who word warred with you, and you can trade criticism with them over theirs and vice versa. And then you continue if you want to go again. I hope I explained that well. If there's any questions, feel free to ask me.

Now, GO!

@Comrade, that's awesome! Once the society begins to kick up some I hope that this will be a good place for people to write in. :D
