Blondie here from Europe. I struggle with writer's block intermittently. I get discouraged and the fount (the venerable tidal wave) of ideas peters off into but a trickle of inspiration. Hopefully talking about it will help.

My writer's block is about twenty months old.  It's irritating and frustrating and actually quite distressing.  Before it came, I regularly produced several manuscripts a year.  Now, I have several without endings, which isn't terribly like me.  I'm hoping posting an old one will generate enough positive reinforcement to remind me why I do this stuff.

I'm Riley. Thank you for accepting me into your community. I've recently been dealing with writer's block and have no idea what to write. When I don't have writer's block I write basically anything. I don't stick to one genre. I mainly write fantasy and romance. I like collaborating with people and have written something for nearly all genres with someone. I also really like to edit and give feedback. I end up writing a lot of horror and gore because most of my friends write horror and ask me to write all scenes involving gore.
