My story on wattpad just does not seem to get as many views as I get here though it's the same story. What could be the reason? Is it what they call the 'algorithm'? Or are there any other reasons? In other words, can anybody here explain me on what I could possibly do to reach more people?

One reason might be is that Wattpad is oversaturated. It is hard to get yourself seen. Also, yes, the algorithm and the search machine. People had a lot of complaints about that one.

Since the loss of the forums, I admit it's been hard to find a place to network your stories. I found a reddit for Wattpad and I am yet to see if it helps for getting your stories out there.

Wattpad only cares for contracted workers stories so don't bother with them. That's people call wattpad a fanfic site since nobody takes originals serious on that site

But I am sure you can find other places like here with much more benefits
