When was the last time you felt that life was … fun? Enjoyable. Not to be confused with happiness, a spark of satisfaction. When did u actually thought that , life was …… exciting and fresh?

When was the last time u woke up, and you were going to do something completely different compared to what u did yesterday?

Heck, when was the last time u did something outside the rules of society?

Games have been more and more popular as technology advances. If u love playing video games, you’ll know that a “trash game”, would be one that has a bad tutorial, steep difficulty curve, bad design, and most importantly , unenjoyable.

If it Sounds familiar, it’s because you’ve been playing a trashy game your whole life, literally.

Let me explain.
School is important. It prepares us for our adult lives. You probably can’t recall where you’ve heard it from. But you’ve heard it from somewhere.
How is school useful though?
You’ve never learned in school how to pay taxes, you’ve never learn about loans, housing in school. You’ve never learned about having a healthy diet, you’ve never learned how to build good time management, you’ve never learned how to communicate with people.
You’ve never learnt these essential schools.
I guess at least you learnt that mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
Yet School is suppose to be a tutorial for “beginners” of the game, to learn how the “game of life” works and to prepare us for the “actual gameplay ” And yet most things we do in school are useless, and irrelevant to our future life. Bad tutorial? Check.

If there’s one thing about life, it always starts off easier than where u are at now. When we were born, (most of us) we get food , water and shelter delivered to us, without cost.

Then there school came, a “hard time” for teenagers. They rant about how boring and hard it is. Until they go outside and realise the true difficulty of life — working 8 hours a day, doing all the housework, signing reading and paying bills — all trying to get yourself together. Because of the bad tutorial, life gets so much harder as we age. Often times too difficult. Steep difficulty curve? Check

Not to mention the design of society is a rubbish bin of it’s kind. The rubbish bin that contains only the trashiest trash.

We are told to do everything the society tells us to do, go to school, get a job. Go to school even if school was designed 200 years ago to teach people how to be workers in factories during the industrial revolution. That’s why we seat in rows, nice and neat, raise your hands if you want to speak.

Education is key to development in society. The country depends on the system in hopes that it will produce smarter, higher quality labour. Yet in the last 200 years society can afford to make nuclear bombs but fails to improve on the thing that matters the most? Education is the same as it was 200 years ago and is proven over and over to be inefficient in modern day society.

Then after you’ve reach some point in life. It’s time to work 8 hours a day and get paid minimum wage while the Heads of the company take most of the earnings. Your blood, sweats and tears all went to someone else’s bank account, and they probably didn’t even needed that money. Bad design? Check — extra points for the extra trash design.

If you always find yourself sighing or getting frustrated in life, that’s okay. Because chances are, everyone’s doing the same thing. Us , are players of a game we are forced to participle in.
177Please respect copyright.PENANAt2kG3sJfbV
Just like in any other game , there are different types of players. To name a few, average players like me and some guy on the streets call Joe. Performing average in academics, confused with that they are doing, working till they are completely exhausted. Then, repeat.

There are players that succeed in the game following the rules of society, those who are billionaires, international icons, for example Bill Gates.
177Please respect copyright.PENANAZcQdlvaxoX
Then there are players that don’t follow the rules, they either disagree with the rule, or find the game boring following the rule. “You want to have fun, you gotta break the game”
177Please respect copyright.PENANADlOnmdGkMS
But the most interesting players are those who give up on the game. Life has too little to offer, too demanding, and too frustrating. Too tiring , too lonely. Unenjoyable, unfair, no directions, no help. They realised the true value of the game. Not 0. But negative infinity.

What is the meaning behind all of this? Is there even one? After all, I , and many other people, if not all , are forced to play in this game. No matter if we end up succeeding in it, failing it, liking it, hating it, nothing can change the fact that we didn’t get to choose to be born or not. So is that it? A really trashy game we just happen to be forced to take part in? If so, creators of the game should at least try to make it fun.

Maybe then I’ll stop having the feeling of being a fish and being told to climb trees. Downwards.

And maybe I’ll wake up feeling excited one day, to turn on my computer, and to play, to play the game, of life.
