I went to the dresser and pulled out a pair of pajamas, cotton was comforting to me I put them on and sighed. I picked up my brush and sat at my vanity, I dragged my brush through my hair looking into the mirror and thought about the day. As I pulled the brush through my hair I closed my eyes and couldn't help but smile at the images of the handsome men that crossed my minds eye. After a few moments I shivered and then put my brush down and turned to my bed. I pulled the covers down and grabbed the Druid book I had bought. I turned on the lamp on the bed-stand and crossed the room to turn out the light. I crossed the room climbed into bed pulled the covers over my lap and opened the book. I don't remember drifting off to sleep but it must have been sometime shortly after midnight. I sat at a table the light dim and the soft sound of classical music was playing in the background. The strong scent of flowers and food wafted and hung in the air like an aluring mist. There was no one near the table and I picked up thewine glass that was sitting before me. I put it to my lips taking a sip of the tangy liquid, I heard the voice behind me asking If I was ready to order. I nodded and smiled and soon a man in a black suit set before me a plate of lemon baked fish and fresh string beans, I smiled up to the gentleman and waited for my companion to join me, it never struck me as strange that I could smell the flowers or that I was waiting for someone. As he sat and we spoke I looked into familiar steel blue eyes, we finished our meal and moved to sit by the fire in what he called the pit, just off to the side. A shier tent was built around the fire and several brocade pillows were tossed around the floor near the fire. They we're arranged in a circle leaving room where the carpet would meet between the pillows and the flames. We sat between them I leaned back against one of them and smiled, my companion had brought a bottle of champagne with him and he opened it. He poured me a flute of the bubbly and then handed it to me a sly smile on his face and I found myself wanting to trace the line of his lips first with my finger and then second with my own tongue. I felt my pulse quicken slightly and took a large drink from the glass as I smiled back at my companion. He joined me on the cushions bottle of champagne in hand, the top three buttons of his shirt undone. We were joined by a chocolate eyed gentleman with dark hair and in his hand he held a bowl of strawberries. I could feel my pulse begin to race. My first companion began to speak while my new companion offered me some of the strawberries. I took another drink, turned and smiled to my companions. One of them spoke and I laughed, tossed my hair over my shoulder exposing my neck and sighed contentedly. My second companion leaned in and I could feel his breath gently and softly blowing in my ear as I felt his teeth against my earlobe. My other companion leaned in and traced the line of my collarbone with his finger slowly at first then he began kissing a trail down to the hallow of my neck. A soft moan escaped past my lips as I feel the hand of my second companion slip over my right breast. I feel his fingers find the hard nub of my nipple and I shiver slightly as he pinches it. My first companion's hand slips between my legs to rest on my knee. I close my eyes and bite my lower lip as I feel his hand sliding slowly upward. My pulse began to race faster. I opened my eyes to see my first companion's hair turn into a long flowing Main, his face and features take on those of a Lion and I feel the scream rip from my throat.
I sat ram rod strait in my bed, perspiration dampening my brow, I looked at the alarm clock only to realised it was still three am. I threw the covers off and moved to stand, I felt so weak in the knees they nearly gave out from under me. This was way too much, how could this be happening? I should not be having these dreams especially not now, now I needed to concentrate more on school and work. I cant be so much more worried about this than school. Suppression... That was the answer, I could do that. I let my hands slip around my waist and one to my lips as I closed my eyes memories of the dream flashed before me. I shivered and moaned slightly then opened my eyes and let out a breath I had been standing before my mirror and blushed then quickly looked away. A good long run that was all I needed.
I quickly changed and put on my running shoes grabbed my mace and locked the door behind me, I ran down the stairs and did a little stretch outside. I looked around me and noticed a few shadows but didn't think anything of it. I continued to stretch out and when I felt my muscles were limber enough I took off. I started at a slow pace gradually increasing until I was at an even comfortable running speed, I ran to the campus and began to run around it. I took note of the buildings and were things would be at my classes I would need to attend and the ones I would have to have the admissions building look at to see if I needed to retake them or if my credits did transfer. I looked at my watch when I knew I had been running for an hour and a half I turned and ran back home. I reached home and noted I had been running for almost two full hours. I stopped and took my pulse. After that I quickly decided to stretch a bit then walk the two blocks to the quick mart and grab a bottle of Gatorade. I knew that I would need to replenish my electrolytes. I walked to the counter and noticed the young pimple faced clerk at the counter. I smiled and waited for him to ring me up. I handed him the money and walked out the door twisting the cap off of my bottle as I went. I pealed off the protective layer and put the squirt cap back on. I took a long drink tilting my head back as I did so and when I had drank enough I walked back home and up the stairs as the sun had begun to rise.
I showered quickly and then toweled my hair and combed it straight. I dressed and walked out to the kitchen. I had made more than enough blueberry torte the night before so I placed some in separate containers and set them in the refrigerator. I then set to work on making some lasagna. It didn't take me too long. By ten thirty am I was satisfied that It would taste delicious. I placed the top on one pan and then turned to grab a few containers out of the cupboard. I caught myself humming and had to chuckle at myself. I quickly put some in a container for Tina and Lilly and then placing them all together pulled the torte containers from the refrigerator and placed them on top. I went to the door set it all down on the table long enough to grab my debit card my keys and my mace and toss them all into my pockets on my cargo pants and headed out the door. I stopped to lock the door which I found more simple when I put the items on the floor for a brief moment. I picked up the pans and then headed downstairs to the bookstore. Here I smiled as an older gentleman opened the door for me. "Hello" I said with a cheerful smile. "Hello Miss. Stephanie." It would not be till much much later that I would find this strange. I didn't even know the man. I entered the store and went straight to the counter. I saw Lilly there and grinned. "Hello Lilly, is Tina in?" Before Lilly could reply Tina had popped her head around the corner. "Why Hello Stephanie. How are you today?" "I am well thank you Tina, and how are you?" "Good, good.. what you got there?" "Aah well I brought you and Lilly some Lunch and Desert." I grinned at them. "I hope you like it" I set the two containers down and picked up the others. "I really would love to stay and chat but I must be on my way. More to drop off." I waved and walked out the door nodding to the stranger again. I walked the few feet to the new place that Mr. Parker had bought and was beginning to renovate just for me. I used the key he had given me the night before at the party and unlocked the door. I opened it and took a look around. Most of the front was completed. There was a desk behind a counter and a computer and a refrigerator that was labeled "Staff". I opened the door and placed the two containers inside. I then walked back farther into the building and noticed one room with a small lab area and large glass cold cases where many medicines were stored. I smiled absently at this. I also noticed the lab was easily converted into a small operating room. This made me a little nervous. I was not yet qualified to do anything of that scale. I would have to look hard at the applications and files that Samantha had dropped by earlier. I walked out and saw the area for the Parker Industries Ambulance. This Mr. Parker was sure thoughtful and didn't leave much to chance, a real take charge kind of guy. I liked that in a man. I couldn't believe my mind had taken on that train of thought again. I really need to talk to Morgan about this sometime. I walked back out to the office area and flipped open my phone. I hit the seven and it brought up Mr. Parker's cell number. I waited for his answer. "Yes, Hello Stephanie. What can I do for you?" I smiled and said, "Actually I was just at the new office here Mr. Parker and wanted to tell you what a wonderful job your crew is doing. I left you a little something in the refrigerator by way of thanking you. Have a good day Mr. Parker." I hung up before He could reply. I left the shop and locked the door and I know I had a smug grin on my face. I then walked to the Brown University Campus.198Please respect copyright.PENANAamG4slmQpF
