Tymon knew what he was thinking about. The war. If it took place, it'd make him even stronger. For them, he'd be a better representative for the Deviants. For him, though, he'd be better equipped to protect the others.... If humans boosted his power this much in a short amount of time, Tymon could only imagine the strength he'd gain from klevonians or pneumarians who died. Still, if possible, he'd do everything he could to help Alissia prevent it.
Without saying anything, Tymon shot toward the sky, heading east. Eventually, below him, he saw the bridge Viraa mentioned. It was a wide bridge, large enough for heavy traffic to cross, but it was currently empty. He'd lowered closer to the ground by then and could feel the heat rising from deeper into the chasm. Unlike before, he could even see a faint orange-red glow of lava deep below.
Not long after that, he bypassed the mountain range and reached one of Forgeton's districts. He quickly realized that Forgeton was just as vast as Pneuma City. He couldn't even see the giant volcano the city was supposedly named after.
Not wanting to waste any more time, Tymon quickly bought a flight pass for Forgeton. He was in a sector—that's what districts were referred to as in Forgeton—that had thick, noxious fog that hung over the buildings.
Instead of flying, he chose to travel by shadow to avoid unwelcome interactions like before. Using Dark Shift in an area he'd never been to was risky, but he'd been delayed enough already. He intended to focus on sensing the strongest energy, likely to be the Ryfa Pakt, then shadow travel to a nearby shadow.
He hoped it'd work.
When he began to search, at first he sensed many high-energy signatures (for unmarked klevonians) but none that distinguished itself from the others.
Maybe he needed to get closer. Tymon focused on a weaker energy signature he felt relatively close to one of the stronger ones and stepped into a shadow.
When he emerged, he accidentally bumped into an older female klevonian who had been sitting in her living room.
"Sorry about that," Tymon apologized as he stepped away.
The old woman looked at him in horror as her eyes shimmered all white.
"Your hardships...so much death...so many people..." her hoarse voice cracked as she looked him in the eyes.
Judging by her eyes and her rubbing her hands, Tymon assumed she could see into others' pasts by touching them.
"I'm really sorry," he apologized as he walked out the front door to see that he was now in an icy sector and klevonian children were running around in the snow.
Toward the south was a large structure with the symbol 'S-04' engraved on it.
He saw someone of an unfamiliar race walking by and intercepted her, looking her in the eye. Order was supposed to work on weak-willed races. Let's see if that extended to nonhumans as well.
"Where am I?" He asked, his influence washed over her, and the woman entered a trance, proving it to work, but before she could answer, his influence was broken as the ground shook. They saw a giant mass of ice in the shape of a person shrinking nearby. It was the source of one of the strong energies he felt.
Not wanting to be stopped by yet another person, he focused hard on sensing the strongest energy in all of Forgeton. Like this, he was able to find the singular highest energy in the nation. It wasn't by much compared to some others, but it was the highest.
It must be the Ryfa Pakt.
Tymon stepped into another shadow and emerged from one close to the target. As he was emerging from the shadow, he felt a firm grip grab his arm, catching him by surprise. It pulled him out and threw him into the air.
Tymon righted himself midair and hovered there so he could see his assailant, but he saw a blur leap toward him from the ground.
