It has been a while since I made a post here, the previous ones being somewhat dark and brooding, as well as unsettling to say the least. Though that does not make them any less true.
I have been working closely with other writers to get their work processed and properly edited and polished for when it comes out on the site. I will not name names, an editor is not one to brag about just fixing "They're" to "Their".
But I find myself excited to share this with you all, very much so, because it is something we can all do as writers. We can help other writers become better, and in turn, become better ourselves.
Ray Bradbury said at one point in his life, and I'm probably going to butcher the quote with paraphrasing. "Write every day, until not doing it feels wrong." See? that probably wasn't remotely what he said, the glory of Paraphrasing. But it still rings true. To be a writer you need to write, whether that's writing poems, or short stories, or editing for a friend, it all makes you a writer. You can't be a writer and not write, that like being a surgeon and not performing surgery.
So go out and write my friends, write anything, write about the most mundane things in over the top ways, write about your favorite childhood memory, write about the time you actually crashed a segway, Wait...that's me...I broke my elbow when that happened...regardless just write. It'll help, trust me.
