I opened the door quietly, hoping I could sneak inside. I had left early out of fear. There was no way I was safe there, and even though it wasn't safe here either, I at least had a chance of survival with my dad.
"Cameron Jaylon Sanders! Why are you back so soon? Didn't I say to keep out of my house!"
"I-It's a half day.. and I th-thought that it was only for the n-n-night..."
"Do you think I'm that stupid?" He towered over me, and I shrunk,
"N-N-No!" I shook my head, and he slapped me across the face,
"Don't lie to me!" He screamed, "Unlike your whore mother, I don't let you get away with things! Get your ass back to school!"
"Mom wasn't a whore!" I shouted at him, before cupping my hand over my mouth, instantly regretting it, when his hands pushed me back, and my head hit the door.
I felt something tug on my arm, and I groaned, "Sorry!" I squinted in the direction of the voice, but I couldn't make anything out, "Uh, I wouldn't move..."
"Wh-Why?"
"Because I fucking said so!" They snapped, "Sorry. That was uncalled for."
"Where am I?"
"Your door step."
"Oh. Do you know what happened?"
"Your dad kicked your ass, dip shit!"
"Geez, okay."
"Look, I'm going inside my house to call an ambulance. Don't move."
"I don't think I can."
"Yeah, your legs are probably broken." The voice said, before running off. Not long after, he ran back, and sirens were heard.
"Thanks." I said, but he didn't respond to me. Instead, he walked away from me, and talked to, what I assume to be, the police, and the nurses.
