So...Coen here!

My goal is to attempt to write a novel or story collection on the Romance genre. It will be my first official romance story on Penana. I will try my best to at least write a COMPELETED one even it's not 50,000 words!

@Coen Wonder, I've never written a real romance story before but I've definitely been playing with that idea... We'll see if I join you in that endeavor!

I actually haven't decided what I will write this year! :D I have too many options. Either going to do a collection of stories that need to be finished, or tackle a huge novel using a new magic system I've created with Frances to work out kinks for our co-write, or just some random novel that pops into my head that morning I wake up to write. :)

I never know what I am going to write until that night at midnight.

Sounds interesting! Look forward to learning about the new magic system or the story you decided to write!:)

I'm thinking I'll start another YA work with some life lessons provided by yet another quirky group of delinquent teenagers ;) Should be fun!

Hmm, I have been planning this novel I want to write for NaNo, called We Were the Wild Ones. It's about this film student going back to his home town to make a documentary about his old group of friends. The used to be kind of teenage delinquents, getting into trouble wherever they went, and he sees that they didn't turn out quite like he thought they would. I have started outlining and developing the characters, so it should be interesting ;)

I'm going to be writing a novel called Waves of Midnight Clouds. It's about a lady pirate. ;) I've been planning it for a couple years, and I'm excited to finally start it! I'm pretty certain I won't get to 50,000 words but at least I'll walk away with a very rough draft!

Hey it's Alef,
I haven't decided yet but I'm always gonna go for my usual lo-fi Science Fiction concepts. Still seeing if I'm gonna use "Forty Second Hour" (You can check the 70 word prologue on my showcase) about a group of people affected by the announcement that life exists on a faraway planet. Or I'm planning to write it as a screenplay without the pressure of NaNoWriMo. You heard it here first! ;)

Well... I pretended I might sit this one out for a while but I guess I'm in after all. I just started a new class that's been sucking up a ton of my creativity... This might be just the kick in the arse I need!

I'm still stuck on the specifics but I'm seriously tempted to do a completely self-indulgent, time travel Romance plot-line. I'm a sucker for those whether its the original "Terminator" or "Outlander, into the future or into the past. But I'm still debating. I'm particularly interested in the concept of "multiverse" time travel and parallel universes. But we'll see, still looking for inspiration.

@Frances, Outlander is the best!! I got my wife hooked on it and she read the whole series in a month... she doesn't even time to read, either haha

@Andrew Knight, it is awesome! The books are fabulous and I thought the tv show isn't too bad either. I was shocked that my husband got into the show with me, I never would have thought it was his thing.

It's an "old soul" married couple thing, my wife has gotten me to read/watch things I will never admit out loud ;)

shnuffeluv reporting for duty! If anyone here's ever read parts of my different "Dragonborne Project" works here, I'll be working on making that into a full-blown novel this November, complete with a gender-neutral main character to have that sort of "every man" trope but extended into every /human/. I've got my work cut out for me...
