Life. There is no way to define life but all we know is that it was given to us. Given to us by God. People are given life without knowing what they are going to grow up as, what path God has chosen for them. But it is also sometimes tragically taken away. There are so many people around the world. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, Pansexual, Demisexual. Black, white, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Native American, Mexican, Hispanic, Cuban, Puerto Rican, Brazilian. Christian, Muslim, Atheist, Catholic, Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist. Everyone in the world is different but there are so many people in the world that are scared to even go outside because they feel a certain way or the believe a certain way or they look a certain way. God has given everyone life knowing who they are going to be, but so many people think that God is going to sin someone because they are different than them. God made us to be different. God is the one that created us to be who we are. People are the ones who are “sinning” the different, not god. People are making up this society that they think God would want, Gob would approve of. If god wants something he will do it. If you think that he is so powerful than he doesn’t need us changing things. No one should have to wake up wondering if they’re going to get hurt or if they are going to end up crying or end up not getting to see the next sunrise, or even seeing their family ever again. Somewhere in the world there is a white man discriminating a group of people. There may be news about it but there are supporters. Because he is making up lies or maybe just twisting the truth so that they will take his side. So that more people will discriminate a certain group for being different. Somewhere in the world there is a black man fighting to supply his family. Sometimes he goes months without seeing his wife and son, and gets to wake up not even knowing if hes ever going to see them again. No one notices the people on the side line doing good but the people in the middle doing the worst. Schools don’t teach us about that one black man that fought for our country and made it better, no they teach us about the one white man who hurt millions of people. Our world spends so much time focusing on the bad that we barely have anytime for the good. Somewhere in the world there is someone hiding in the bathroom of a LGBT club because there is a guy with a gun outside. He is so scared not knowing if hes gonna see his family again. He hears the door open. Now he crying, trying, dieing, then flying. Hes now flying away to heaven because he was different. He loved someone and that wasn’t “OK”. Somewhere in the world there is a young girl suffering from down-syndrome and a popular girl that discriminates people that aren’t like her. That young girl didn’t get to choose her life. But of course because she is different she can’t be happy. People think that if someone is different they don’t deserve the right to be happy. The thing is, you can be a certain way but you can NOT judge someone for being a different way. No deserves a day that they can’t look forward to. Somewhere in the world there is a young girl who is scared and a man that scared her with sexual assault. But there is still someone fighting for that man to help him get free. Because he is going to fight against the truth and of course because he is an adult he might win. So you will have this little girl knowing that the person that hurt her is out there to either hurt her again or someone else. People are supporting someone that is doing wrong just for money. They get payed to help a criminal get free. Somewhere in the world there is a young boy who is crying outside because he is transgender and his parents kicked him out of the house. He doesn’t feel comfortable in his own body and even his own parents discriminate him. Parents are supposed to love and support their kids, their own kids. But just because their kids are different they don’t deserve a life. So this young boy is sleeping in the streets because he wants to be himself. Somewhere in the world there is a young black boy lying dead on the street shot by a cop. But the questions going around is whose fault it is. The witnesses say the cop because the boy didn’t have a weapon and wasn’t doing anything, but the cop says it was the kids because he was coming at him with a knife or a gun. Now who are you supposed to believe because most people are going to choose the cop. It could be because well he’s a cop or because he was white and the young boy wasn’t. somewhere in the world there is a little girl watching her mom and dad get shot dead because they live in the slums. Because they are a disgrace to the world. This little girl gets to watch a white man kill her parents while she hides in her closet holding her baby brother hoping not to get found. Praying for not only her own life but her little brothers. But there is no news or anything about it because who cares right. No one does because it’s not them. It’s not them watching their family get killed. It’s not them holding their little brother tight praying and scared out of their mind. Somewhere in the world there is a Mom watching a doctor take away and kill her baby because they already have another little boy. This little baby gets to lose their life because the government doesn’t let the family have more than one kid. This poor baby’s parents get to watch their little pried from their arms. But no one will try and do anything about it because it’s not them. They get to live their own little life. Somewhere in the world there is a young white kid getting beat up in an ally way by a gang of people. He was just walking along when this group of people thought hey let’s beat up this innocent guy because we want to. Somewhere in the world there are kids at school being put in a line to get shot. They were just doing what they need to and learning when this guy decided to come in with a gun and kill some kids. They have so much to live for but their life gets to get cut short. So many people in this world decide to kill people for fun. It is different when someone uses self-defense to protect yourself. We have guns to protect ourselves not to hurt people for our own amusement. But when people are going around with their guns just killing random people for fun it’s so crazy. What happened to those people to make them so mad that they feel the need to kill people? Everywhere around the world people are getting hurt and discriminated. But the others don’t do anything about it because it’s not them. The privileged get to do what they want when they want but the un-privileged get beaten, shot, killed and that’s the end of it. No one really pays attention to what is going on in other people’s lives. They think so much of such small problems when there are people going through much worse. There are many different levels of problems. Breakup and a broken heart, pet passing away, family member passing away, getting abused by your parents because they never wanted you, going to bed starving because your mom works a double shift and still doesn’t get payed enough to afford food, going to school getting beat up and bullied because your “Weird”, living on the streets because you got kicked out and you havnt been able to buy new clothes or shower so no one in gona hire you, fighting for your country and not knowing if your gonna see your family again. There are so many problems but we always focus on the lower ones like breakups because we don’t understand how hard all the other ones are.
