It was never about you, this

Thing, Deep and Festering like

An old Wound, a grain of Doubt

In my eye disturbing the iris to grow

Red, and Weep, and go Blind.

So, all I hear is the Stillness of Breath

All I see is the chaos of Light,

All I know is the Absence of Death.

How much longer do we have to Fight?

It feels like a Mountain with its

Toes tip-toed so its peaks are white

To make this head grow cold

To make minds take flights of fear

Of the Things Disappeared in

This world of Abscess and

Broken bones all the color of

New Fallen Snow done Right.
