I didn't know what blood was when I was a child
They took that word out of the mouths of the people
And shot it
I didn't know what blood was when I was a teenager
They looked at my hate and my rage that all stemmed from pain and they
Called me evil
I didn't know what blood was in my youth
But I knew that for years now I had been having dreams of tearing apart my flesh and seeing something bright red flow like a river down my skin
And I had been having dreams of a torrential and unending rainstorm where all the drops were red and tasted of metal
And I didn't know what this thing was but I knew I wanted it
And it gave me hope
They said that I wasn't allowed this wet hot hope. They said that I wasn't allowed this bright red dream.
But guess what? I will take the rage that they cannot strip from me
And I'll take my soul into my hands and throw it into eternity
And if we've all been hurt and we all agree then none of us are actually free
And I don't need to ever hear the word blood to know how to pull it out from their bodies23Please respect copyright.PENANAyVaukjFmrA
