Title: Expect strange problems
We were requested by the Cleivance Base to send Dr. Sirth to Planet 7Y-822 type A-11.1. His location was out of the way but since they got class-A papers, we were obliged even if we will be less on schedule. Most of the time, situations such as these need immediate attention and response so everything is excused and dandy. As we traveled, he held his briefcase tightly; nobody asked the doctor why even if it felt like he was holding a ‘top secret’ material. It was with him the whole ride until he went to the toilets, and then never came back. We searched the ship after two hours of him being missing but he was nowhere to be found; even the radar can’t find him. It was like he evaporated but all the cameras says otherwise because nobody entered the weapons section. General Hella informed us that Dr. Sirth is the same specie as him and one of their fortes is the ability to camouflage – which includes copying temperatures and structures. In addition, he told us that he was a former spy and he used this trick to get information and know other secrets. After general Kingfisher heard this news, she rushed to the quarters and inspected the suitcase that the doctor brought with him. Inside, there was a book that encased sheets of mirror. She did nothing to it but put it back in and destroyed the locks for no one to touch; then she ordered us to stay in the control station. By the way, the Cleivance Base called us minutes later informing that Dr. Sirth will not be able to leave today for he was not done with his observations as scheduled.
While we were looking at the cams as she was pacing around the ship furiously, General Felle explained to us what was happening. She told us, the mirrors were am infamous alien tech because of its supernatural composition and capability. It was rumored that it could clone anyone who looks at it but the copy would be purely evil- ‘yet it is not the reason why she is bothered…’ general Felle clarified ‘for the universe did not create her, man’s clumsy hands did… and she is mad only because of an uninvited guest’. I don’t know why that statement got stuck in my head... maybe it’s because I’m just like her, an experiment. General Kingfisher’s patience finally broke and she took out her sword. She never used any weapon as far as I could remember; she is now perfectly dangerous if you ask me and the rest of the crew. Her crystalic weapon was strange; I swear I could hear sounds coming from it and it glows! She used this thin sword to create a wave of energy – today sure is full of surprises – but after she stabbed this on the ground, it wasn’t buried, it just landed like a staff. Then we heard someone screaming from the lower portion of the control station; there we found our foe on floor bleeding out. The general pointed her sword at his neck and started to ask questions but he suddenly spit poison towards us. She was able to dock and cut his head off but the rest was about to be killed so I shielded them with my very own body. Kingfisher panicked as the chemical began melting my suit; she immediately grabbed me and took me to the medic bay. The solution was simple, get into the special showers to get rid of all the dangerous substances and other foreign germs. She watched me get cleansed, it was very awkward. It got worse when the nurse told the general to go get a wash as well since she held his dead head all the way there. We didn’t talk the whole process, but we did glace at each other’s structures for some natural reasons. After the wash, we wore fresh suits and went back to our duties like nothing happened.
