Quitting addiction is difficult, and attempting to do so generates pressure and stress, but these are temporary. However, quitting the habit doesn’t necessarily have to be abrupt. Reducing consumption intervals until they reach zero can be a good approach.
One of the things encouraged by addiction recovery organizations in general is alternatives! These are things that provide dopamine to the brain, so it doesn’t necessarily need cigarettes to get it.
