Humans are overpopulated, and I agree. Some say, humans are destroying the Earth, our planet, the only world that allows us to survive, and I agree. The question is, how can we solve this issue?
I don't mean killing dozens of people every hour, but we are already doing it anyway, aren't we? Isn't that the purpose of war? To kill people, so only the fittest survive? Nah, probably not, I don't think war is killing enough people if it is indeed not the way to solving our overpopulation issue - war is just a game of power, a competition of natural resources and a disgusting excuse to kill people.
Humans are good at destroying things, and only a few people know how to build. Overpopulation is an undesirable condition where the number of existing human population exceeds the carrying capacity of Earth. In the end, the number of people will exceed the limit of our society; we will eventually "run out of space" and most importantly, our resources.
Although overpopulation sounds like a single issue, it is associated with multiple factors, including reduced mortality rate, better medical facilities, depletion of precious resources, longevity, advanced technology, urbanisation and over-civilisation.
For instance, growing advances in technology have affected humanity in many ways. One of these was the ability to save lives and create a better medical treatment for all, as well as prevention of illness by promoting a healthy lifestyle and balanced diet.
If we look at our economy and society, it is not difficult to find evidence that overpopulation is a real issue of humanity, as well as global warming, climate change, pollution, antimicrobial resistance, etc. What would our future be? If we don't act now, the impacts will be irreversible, and there will be no future of humanity.
