I stood behind them as they made a spectacle of the dead. The dirt was still naked and wet where she laid. Taking a chisel to her name will have to wait until the leaves fall once more. I bided my time as they squabbled over the mud on their shoes. This is when I realized reality never set in. Detached from this earth of ours, I look down and hope she isn’t just a rotting corpse in a fancy box. When my promise is fulfilled I will then fully understand. I just hope the ground isn’t as cold and dark as the world above.29Please respect copyright.PENANAFFu5K24mM8
