Once orphaned and now an outcast, 17-year-old Hayley Montgomery's life hasn't really been a piece of cake. She's the girl sitting alone in the courtyard, the last one picked for every team ever, and the one nobody ever really notices. The only escape she ever had was the music and her sketchbook. That is, until a curious certain somebody named Jake Parsons stepped in, and shows Hayley that there are more colors to life--and love--than just plain shades of gray she once knew.
