Damon POV
The service for Moon was very private, only myself and Raine attended. Raine hasn't spoken a word in a week. She's still confined to her hospital bed, being tube fed, she can still move to go to the bathroom and shower so she can still have her dignity. Raine won't eat or drink unless it's through the tube and IV, her wolf still hasn't come back yet. I feel so helpless, I sit with her everyday trying to talk to her but she just sits there with a blank expression on her face. Today I must go to my office and arrange a meeting with some other alphas to address the rogue issues and the situation with Michael Wingers, There is no way he would have survived the fall even as a werewolf however without his body as proof I cannot risk Raine's safety, he will only try and take her back.
"Alpha?" A voice came through the doorway. I turned to see the doctor standing and holding onto a file.
"Doctor, how may I help?" I asked
"I've come to show you some of Raine's test results. There is a small positive but there's still bad news." The doctor announced
"Doctor please show me, I need to know how to help Raine."
The doctor nodded his head and passed me the file, I opened it to the first page, my heart dropped once I had finished reading it. I looked up at the doctor, my eyes staring wide.
"Does this mean what I think it means?" I say to the doctor, my breathing speeding up as I speak.
"Yes Alpha, if I don't do this I'm afraid of what may happen" The doctor responded hesitantly, fear glazing his eyes.
"When must this be done?" I ask, part of me already knew the answer but I just wanted to be sure.
"As soon as possible, I would need her consent however seeing as she is barely able to function by herself I will need a family member to sign the consent. I can accept you as her family Alpha but I would feel more comfortable with her parents knowing this information too" The doctor says
I nod and leave the room to call Raine's parents in the room to discuss things with myself and the doctor. As I approach them fear fills their eyes, they look towards each other and hold hands, the universal sign of support. I hope they can make the decision and not me, I can't bring myself to do it, the thought of Raine going through that because I said yes makes me want to be sick.

"Mr and Mrs Connors, I need you to come with me. The doctor needs to speak with us regarding Raine." I say, my voice staying strong I cannot show fear or weakness. I am the alpha. Besides I feel like if I let even one tear or voice tremble I will completely break, I cannot break I must remain strong for Raine.
The couple nod at me and follow me as I walk towards Raine's hospital room, inside the doctor is waiting for us. He looks at us ready to start explaining to Raine's parents what must be done to her. I hold my breath knowing hearing this will be painful.
"Mr and Mrs Connors thank you for coming to speak with me, Raine's condition is still unstable even though she is awake and breathing for herself mentally she has gone. We need to do a shock therapy on her, this will be brutal. I will not sugar coat this. It will enable her wolf and her human mind to reconnect, bringing her back. In order to shock her she will need to go through a number of different torture methods such as holding her head under water until she is close to drowning and bringing her back up, Electric shocks, cutting across the body until she heals and finally having her mate hurt in front of her eyes. I know that this will be traumatic for all parties involved, however this is the only way to save her. If we don't do this Raine and her wolf will slowly die and be lost forever."
We all stood in complete silence once the doctor was finished explaining, Raine's mother had tears rolling down her face while her father was just in pure shock. I knew that this had to be done and I wasn't concerned that I was going to be hurt it was more that Raine was going to have to endure this torture just so she and her wolf can become one again.
"Where do we sign?" Asked Mrs Connors, making my head snap to her face.
