“Where is she?” Raine asked
“I’ve already sent for her to be brought to the office as soon as possible.” I say with a slight angry tone
“What else did Tony say?” Lyam asked, i look at him, then to Raine, i looked into her eyes looking for fear or anything which would stop me from repeating whatTony said to us, she nodded her head at me, i knew this would hurt her but she is so strong and has to know what is going on, I don't blame her considering she didn’t have control over her own life or body for years. I take a deep breath to prepare myself to repeat Wingers’s message.

“Tony said that wingers know’s about Moon, He’s angry saying you killed his first born, he wants revenge, we have one week to hand you over or he will come and get you himself and start a war against the pack. I then explained to Tony that if wingers knew all about Moon then he would have known that either you and your wolf would die and Moon would live or all 3 of you would die. He said that he will inform wingers of that but he wants you back raine, he said Andrea has to pay as agreed. When we asked about that he laughed and was surprised no one knew, he told us to ask Andrea what the agreement was regarding Raine. Which is why I have sent for her to be found.” My eyes never left Raine’s as I explained everything. I'm praying inside she's not hurting more than she was surrounding Moon’s death but I know she is. I can see by her glossed over eyes that she is almost breaking, my raine is being hunted and she knows it, i thought i saved her.
“Find my mother, now” Raine finally speaks
“Raine, you don’t have to confront her” Lyam says
“Yes I do, if she is the reason I was abused and almost killed I want to know why. I deserve to know why, she is my mother and she willingly sent me to a monster. I must know why.”

Soon after a knock on the door took all of our attention, I could see Raine was uncomfortable but I knew she needed to confront her mother.
“Come” I said loudly
The door opens and Andrea Connors walks in with two guards, looking rather confused but when she saw raine her face softened and she smiled.
“Oh my baby how are you?” Andrea walks towards raine with her arms outstretched, going for a hug. Raine looks at me with rage and fear in her eyes, I got the hint at that moment she wanted me to intervene.
“Mrs Connors stop. We have important matters to discuss.” Andrea stops and turns to me with a confused smile on her face.
“Oh my future son in law, how are you?” Andrea is now gushing towards me, Lyam steps forward, anger etched across his face.
“Mrs Connors, sit down now!” Lyam used his beta tone and honestly I was shook, the force behind it, I'd never heard that before from him.

Andrea looked shocked and sat down on the closest chair, the guards stayed by the door with myself, lyam and Raine. I looked at Lyam and then Raine, they both nodded at me stating they were ready.
“Mrs Connors, we have been advised that we need to talk to you regarding Raine’s kidnapping, amongst other things, we have been told that you made an agreement with Michael Wingers regarding the capture of Raine when she was 9 Years of age. Please inform us if these accusations are true or false.” I say in a firm tone
Andrea looks up to me with a look of shock, she looks around the room until her eyes meet Raine’s, then a wicked smile comes across her face.
“Wingers and had a deal. He would kill my mate and daughter so we could be together, however the asshole crossed me, he told me that now he had Raine he could expose me to the world, I couldn’t have that so I told him to do whatever he wants with or to Raine however he would leave my name out of it. She was supposed to be dead but Wingers had other ideas.” Andrea Explained.

I look up to my guards “Find Mr Connors and bring him here please” They guards nod and leave to find raines father.
Raine steps forward, looks at me and turns to her mother.
“I was 9 years old. Why the hell did you need to try and kill me? I would have been none the wiser, you could have left me with dad and ran off with Wingers. Why did you send me to that bastard, He raped me, tourtured me, beat me half to death, filled me with a baby he knew that could kill me. You’re supposed to be a mother not a monster, what the fuck did I do that made you hate me so much, you were happy to have me live a life of pain?” Andrea gave no reply

“ANSWER ME!” Raine screamed in her mothers face, Andrea’s face turned to fear as she could sense the Luna power radiating from her daughter. Andrea swallowed hard before speaking.

“I was supposed to be mated to wingers, He was my first love, but then your father turned up, the stupid mate bond and our wolves. I love your father but that's only due to the mate bond. Your father is weak, he let you get away with murder, he worshiped the ground you walked on and it reminded me how Wingers would treat me. Your father has to die so I can be with Michael, but that changed when he finally got you. Wingers want you and only you, I lost my love because of you TWICE! You need to pay Raine.” Andreas face has turned red, her true colours finally showing to us all, the only thing Andrea never realised was the door opened and Mr Connors heard the whole thing.

“You tried to have my daughter killed because you were jealous? How fucking dilusional can someone be!” Mr Connors walks up to Andrea and smacks her across the face. I turn to see Raine laughing.

“I’m sorry it's just so pathetic, my own mother hates me because the two men she loved in her life loved her daughter more! I mean in my mind wouldn’t any mother rather than have their child abused? I want her locked up and I don’t want to see her face until I find Wingers.” Raine looks at the guards who bow and do what she said without hesitation.
