I see nothing, not my hand in front of my face, my breath as it leaves my body, I am just surrounded by an abyss of nothingness. I don't understand I was in my room just watching the wall as if something amazing was happening. however it was not, just my heartache was controlling my body. I can hear screams of pain but I see nothing, just black.

The sight and smell just made me vomit everywhere, very unbecoming for an alpha however, this is a scene I will never forget. I see Rain e in a wheelchair in the centre of the room, she's covered in bruises, dripping wet with water which is causing her open wounds, that are seeping out with blood, to fall with the water. A puddle of water beneath her pools around her soaking her bare feet, turning a shade of crimson.

"Raine?" I say in a croak, my throat still burning from my vomit. She sits motionless, her head still slumped.

"Alpha?" The doctor says behind me, I turn to see him, the look on his face fills me with worry.

I need your wolf to come out, please alpha.” The doctor explained, I just nod and take off my jacket, shirt, and trousers before allowing Rikko to take over.

“Mate” Rikko howls as soon as he sees Raine, he walks over to Raine his heavy paws padding at the floor with his claws lightly scraping the hard marble floor. Rikko sniffs at Raine, letting out a small whine while nudging Raine with his nose. He starts to lick her wounds trying to heal her faster, as he licks over her stomach Raine takes in a sharp breath and slowly lifts her head, she looks into Rikko’s eyes, Gold swirls mixing with her Hazel eyes.

Rikko whines again and lifts his head to meet hers, both their foreheads touch causing sparks to surge through me and Rikko. I can faintly feel Raine’s pain but not much due to not being fully mated yet.

“Rikko bring her back,” I say. He whines in response. Rikko moves his head from hers, looking deep into her eyes, and starts to howl up to the ceiling. I see Raine shiver and raise her head, her eyes turning gold as her wolf starts to return at the sound of her mates’ pain. I hear a few bones break and then Raine is thrown out of the chair onto the floor, her wolfs’ black and white fur starting to grow. She’s so beautiful, her eyes fully gold as she is in the final stage of her shift, Raine is shifting slowly but I’m guessing that’s due to how weak she and her wolf is. Rikko howls one more time giving his mate some more encouragement and that’s all she needs to fully shift. There she stands in front of us, her black and white fur mixes making her unique. Her tummy is pure white while the rest of her is black, except for her snout, paws, and the end of her tail they are also white.

As Raine's wolf tries to stand her legs give out and she falls onto the marble floor hard, Rikko runs straight to her side to comfort her.

Miyana just nods her head and lays on the cold group, exhaustion creeping up on her, she lets out one final yawn, and her eyelids slowly close.

“Thank you alpha, we will take her up to her room to rest.” The doctor turns to look at Rikko. The doctor grabs my clothes and puts them in Rikko’s mouth, Rikko trots out the door to find somewhere to get changed in some privacy.

“I agree so hurry up and shift back, stop being a girl. No one is down here, just hurry.” I say agitated that he’s taking so long. With one final grunt from Rikko, he finally shifts back. I throw my clothes on and run to Raine’s old room. I need to be there before she shifts.
