A corrupt government takes over Earth, utilizing six of the most brilliant individuals in their respective fields. Each one is an expert in their field. Once the government took over, they were all banished and sent into space, basically left for dead. There was no food, no supplies, and only enough oxygen for all six to stay alive for a few days after being excommunicated into space by The Council. On what seems to be their final day in the vast ocean of space, a spaceship arrives and rescues them. The aliens take them to their home planet, and they teach them higher intelligence and new ways to advance society/technology. The six leaders teach them their home values as well. Ultimately, they come to reclaim Earth with an alien army and establish peace on Earth. The Zakr are at war with several other extraterrestrials/planets at the time of our crew's arrival to Domicium; they help battle and eventually defeat the few forces that plague their planet/lives.

My mother left me behind a box when she died. The box is labelled “The Beatrice Record”. Her name was not Beatrice. My name is not Beatrice. I know of no-one with that name.  Inside the box are various texts and documents. Many unfinished. Many more unbegun, simply existing as disconnected titles or headings for phantom works. The true meaning of the collection escapes me, but I hope that one day, by documenting my findings here and creating a digital file on the works, I can draw some outsider help as to what it all means.

How do I know?

My boyfriend's a vampire! Or at least I think.

He's very dark and brooding, but... I notice he loves sweet things. Why doesn't everyone else know that?

His blood is his coffee, he loves dumping sugar in it.

It's odd, but I don't judge! I can just get him chocolate.

So how to date a vampire?

Good question, I'm still learning.

"Well, that's a name I haven't heard in a while," a voice calls out behind me.

It's familiar. Hauntingly familiar. I felt like I'd been thrust back to being a 17-year-old again hearing that voice. The hairs on the back of my head stand and I nearly drop my freshly made mango smoothie. I don't want to look back, but my head is already turning like it's on autopilot. And then... I see him. After his best friend dies Kai writes diary entries to his friend every day. This won't show all of them. Just the interesting bits. I feel the need to add this. This story is based on my personal experience with topics like this which is very limited so I apologise if it's not super accurate and seems a bit unorganised.
