"Lord Meliodas, you're wounded," Elizabeth notices Meliodas' shoulder is bleeding profusely through the white fabric.
"Oh, it's no big deal," Meliodas brushes it off.
"But you're bleeding so much," she counters.
"D-Don't get so touchy-feely with Captain," Diane booms.
"But-"
Diane cuts her off. "It's my job to look after Captain, okay? If anyone's gonna help him, it'll be me."
"Hey, I'm injured too! He did a number on me," Hawk whines. Y/n chuckles at the pigs' childishness.
Meliodas starts touching him, "Here?"
"That's my spare rib."
"Here?"
"That's my shoulder roa- you're doing this on purpose, aren't you!?"
Y/n intervenes, "Hawk, you know what, Elizabeth help him please."
"Hawk, let's cool your back down a bit," Elizabeth agrees.
Hawk sniffles, "See Y/n and Elizabeth are the only ones who care about me!"
"Ah, that's the spot," Hawks sighs, "That damn Holy Knight, I won't go easy on him next time!"
Y/n coughs to cover up a laugh and Hawk glares at her in return, "So, Elizabeth, you know that guy?"
Elizabeth sighs, "Yes, Lord Gilthunder was originally my sister Margaret's escort. He treated me affectionately like I was his own sister-" She is cut off by a distant voice.
Y/n can swear that she hears her name. She quickly takes a look at the necklace secured around her neck. It is an enchanted compass, it was made especially for her and the Giant Race.
Its purpose is to direct the wearer to either the home of the giants or to her. She had come up with the idea when she realized she wanted to travel.
So it's in case of emergency.
And right now the compass is beginning to glow and twitch, signaling that its other half was close.
"Who is that?" Meliodas ponders.
"Rosetta?" Y/n looks perplexed, it has been so long.
The giant speaks with urgency, "Y/n! We need you something's happening!"
Y/n gives Rosetta her full attention. When it comes to her race in distress, her protective side is brought to the forefront, "What's wrong?"
"Someone is trying to claim the throne!"
"What?! No one has tried since Drole's disappearance."
"Yeah, well they are now. And we need you to be there, you know no one can have the throne until-"
Y/n cuts her off, "Until they battle the Guardian, I know."
The race had made a rule. After the king's disappearance, it was made so that if someone wants the throne they will have to battle the Guardian. Since the Guardian's strength comes second to the kings'.
"Well, they're demanding your presence."
Y/n nods and turns toward the group, "I need to go."
Diane speaks up, "Do I need to come as well?"
Y/n shakes her head no, "No, you should stay with the group, in case they need you. And they only asked for me and I know you would rather stay here."
Diane nods and hugs her aunt, "You'll come back right?"
She nods with a hopeful smile and speaks toward Meliodas, "You said after you pick up Ban you're headed to The Capital of the Dead?"
He nods as she continues, "I can meet you there."
"Alright, we'll see you there," Meliodas waves her off as everyone else says their goodbyes.
"Alright, let's head off."

As they arrive, Y/n sighs and gathers her nerves, it has been a while. As to be here on not-so-good terms, she is understandably anxious.
Rosetta and Y/n walk toward the main cave, heading to the congregation room.
As the giants notice her they respectfully nod toward her. As she gets closer to the room in the cave, she sees a large group of giants.
"The Guardian has arrived!" Rosetta announces.
The group of giants turn around and start to move out of the way.
"Where is the challenger?" Y/n questions the room full of giants.
"Ah, so you've finally arrived."119Please respect copyright.PENANAGTyEpnt3b1
