Intertwined Perspectives Poetry “A Muse”

Reduced to a Muse
Itching towards, I’m withered, deliver me to hell,
our souls burdened.
Although similar I couldn’t concede to worse, such as this.
Twist and turn what’s mine like poison vines, love kryptonite;
deepen despair like it’s yours, till personified.
Happiness: unknown, consumed, lost.
Meeting angels reveals demons.
You didn’t answer, I was met with silence.
This doomed flight endures, where empty hands land, my reach fading desperation.
Lies are made with reason, unlike curses that is love.
I now know true fear, my capability to let another have control over me, but if not I’m burdened and alone.
I’ll give everything for you, it’s not my name if it displeases you, draining how much I’ll do to have you.
You’ve consumed my mind now there’s nothing less.
Escape me, with false apathy that I’m not there;
I’ve lost what was never found, never felt.
All lowly emotions, irresistible poison I inhale breathlessly,
cold shadows of your ghost.
I second, fourth, afterthought:
the normalcy that is me.
You didn’t choose me again:
only fools beg and plead, I’d keep that for dreams but I cannot dream.
This untimely time unfavored,
time unforgiving, I’m bounded to thoughts of you.
I’m sorry I didn’t love you enough.
Nothing matters without you, but our nothings was still something to me.
Love and apathy, hate and passion.
