TO THE TOWN

Seraphina shuts the sliding doors behind her, setting her feet in her sandals, and begins her short walk to the town. Before she leaves she wants to go to the heart of their village, the town market. She wants to shop, visit, and check on everything. How horrible of a person would she be if she just leaves without a trace, leaving everyone to guess where she went?
She doesn't want to be that person. Even when she was younger, she didn't want to be couped up in the big house. She wanted to explore and play with the other kids. But that rarely ever happened, as her parents were overprotective of their little princess. But now is her chance to experience more of the place she never did in her whole childhood.
She looks down at the dragon silently walking next to her, at least she wasn't always alone.
Attor has been there all the time.
While all the tears spilled, he was either there to cuddle with the sad girl or lick them up to try and cheer her up. All those midnight rides and everything else, no one nor anything could ever replace Attor.
Finally, they reach their destination, and the sounds of bustling people and rolling carts fill Seraphina's ears. She looks at the familiar sight before her, the town has changed a lot since the last time she was here.
As she begins her stroll into the market, a small smile graces her face. She sees little children dirtying up their clothes by playing and running through the dirt road. But those little smiles and loud giggles as adults yell at them to be careful made the smile grow wider.
She glances around at the various shops and stores that stare at her with curious whispers, she feels foreign in her land.
She awkwardly stands in the busy street gawking at the shops until she feels a light tap on her shoulder.
An elderly woman with light purple fading grey hair offers her hand with a sweet grin. Seraphina sheepishly bows as she accepts the woman's help and heads over to the side of the road.
"Are ya lost, darling?" The lady politely asks quickly letting go of her hand, not wanting her to be uncomfortable.
"I would say so, I just came to do a bit of shopping." Seraphina relays the situation to her as Attor lowly growls at the nosy bystanders.
Seraphina pats him on the head to signal him to calm down as the lady worries.
"Well I own this restaurant with a couple of ladies, why don't you come in and sit down we'll get you everything you need!" The woman generously offers.
Seraphina yelps as she was dragged into the restaurant without a chance to give her answer. Seraphina glances around the simple-styled restaurant. The color of a chestnut pops out on the counters and tables. The drapes are colored a wintery white with designs.
It was a breath of fresh air.
"Yama!" She hears a flowery voice call out from behind the counter.
"I thought I said bring in more customers, it's been two hours! Why in the hell were you out for so long? Did you even bring back anybody," the woman stands tall with some glasses in her hands and an annoyed expression painted on her face. But it slowly disappears as she curiously glances at Seraphina.
Setting the glasses down with a clank, a smile appears on the woman's bright, pink lips.
"It's an honor, Princess Seraphina."134Please respect copyright.๏ผฐ๏ผฅ๏ผฎ๏ผก๏ผฎ๏ผกibKKaUa2bB
