“I—need… I need my meds.” Where were they? He could already feel his heart starting to beat faster. His breathing was slowly growing erratic, “W-where are my meds? I-I can’t find them!”

Focus, focus, focus. Ground yourself. Three objects… some books. A chair. A window. Four clothing. My blue shirt. Nike sneakers.

Kei latched onto Stephen's... no, Teff's shoulders for support as he shut his eyes, waiting for the medicine to take effect and waiting for her voice to leave her head. He breathed in and out. Calming breaths. Calm breaths.

“What’s around us, Kei? Come on, talk to me.”

A fake smile and a creature only for him to see.

Tokishima Kei is a young college student, a normal Japanese born  who migrated to America for his studies. However, he wasn't like everybody. Kei suffered from hallucinations and schizophrenia after an incident back when he was in high school that nobody really felt comfortable mentioning.

All he wants is to live a normal life... and yet it still wouldn't leave.

Why

In a world where potions and magic can exist, is a race called Liya. Creatures who bore the image of humans but have a special power... they can predict the future. However, each Liya had a limit to their ability, but when honed, they can reach limits a regular human won't even dream of touching.

Rehenna, a Liya in the peaceful kingdom of Phir, lived in isolation safe from harm. Her only friend, her personal Knight, Jui. Jui always asked her to look into his future, but Rehenna had always said she couldn't.

It was a lie. In his future, was war. She couldn't stop it from coming no matter what she did.

When rumors of Liyas being kidnapped, and a war coming to all kingdoms, it all goes wrong when an intruder steals Rehenna away...

And Jui watches her die right in front of his eyes.

Sheldon Alfloyd was forced to move in with his aunt in the countryside, where everything was different from the city. It was dull, mundane, and there were cows, but it was perfect. The trees, the fields, the grass, the rain... and the ginger haired girl with the glowing butterflies, who never speaks.

Drowning in rain was better than the dark shadows. One step into it, and he would fall to his death.

Every night she would meet him under the moon's light in the forest's clearing, and every night she would see his silky silver fur and glowing blue eyes-- Along with claws sharper than knives and teeth big enough to rip through one's neck without effort.

A story of a clumsy werewolf, a sunny girl, and their oblivious love.

There was once a woman who had accomplished all of her goals, and at a very early age. She was not at all content, everything was boring and it felt as if she no longer had a purpose in life. Until she had  a new dream.

It's a dream, the kind you have when you sleep. There was something strange about it though, it was incredibly vivid. In this dream were seven children all alone, what does she do when she could dream nothing but this?

This was a dream I had when I was seven years old, and so I decided to write it as a story. I wrote it down when I was young but my writing was kind of indecipherable, so I rewrote it. This is the result:

A little boy with a mop of curly, brown hair held the metal fence with his small hands. His eyes sparkling wide as he looked right through it, focused on one of the prettiest scenes he's ever witnessed in all his eight years of life.

In a small field of sunflowers in the middle of a forest, was a woman. She danced around with a bright smile on her face, the rays of the sun making everything around her shine.

A heart-warming (and if you read till the end maybe even heart-shattering) short story about a young boy who's been confined all his life in a house isolated from society who suddenly meets a woman who loves to dance in the field of sunflowers.

In a world where you can send emotions through a special soulmate mark... Cara's soulmate had suddenly started sending her PAIN.

A short poem about family through the eyes of flowers

A regular girl from a small village suddenly regrets her one life decision to leave her home during the day, when she was attacked by a beautiful cackling witch swinging around a sword and a handsome man with eyes that shone like lava.

The two had come just for her, after all, she was the ingredient that man had needed all along.

Victoria a beautiful, young, female demon was created by Lucifer. The reasons? Unknown. Her background remains a mystery even for those in the underworld. Was she the Demon Lord's true daughter? Was she his betrothed? Was she made only for entertainment?  No one knows.

As special as she was, she was growing to strong and this was unexpected. Only a few centuries after her creation she had already managed to make Hell miserable. After killing yet another demon out of rage, Lucifer had enough.

He took her life and entered it into a human's body.

What was to become of her now? What things will she experience? What knowledge will she learn? Victoria the demon was now just Victoria, a human.

This story is a one about a young girl named Sushi Portorate and a young boy named Yurito Gushita.

Sushi is a Russian girl. Her family was often hired to kill people or steal, but because of this they were ordered to be killed by the Russian government. She was the heir to her family, and the only one who survived.

Yurito was a Japanese boy. His family was often hired for spying or information gathering, hiding was their specialty; the reason why they were never found by the Japanese government. The government that greatly wants them dead.

These two families work together. When the Portorate family was massacred, the Gushita wanted to find a memento.

They found Sushi barely alive. She was traumatized and was left silent beyond natural, but perhaps her life will become more brighter within Yurito's presence.

Paula Alkrisma. She was next in line to inherit the Alkrisma family's riches, but that did not interest her. She did not know what she wanted to do.

One day on the anniversary of Tanin the founder of the City Ryu, the thirteen year old girl decided to hold her own special memorial in the place of her death; Limni Lake. Her own personal stalker Cort Doodle wanted to tag along, to pay his respects. Nothing more, he promised.

They did not expect to be pushed into the lake to drown, and have visions of the past. Nobody knew what Tanin's true death was, but now they both knew.

Their appearances have changed. Paula looked like a crystal girl with fins and so did Cort. They looked like monsters. Demons. Abominations. What were they supposed to do? Go back to their parents? How would they explain? They'd probably be captured and experimented on, or worse; killed.

Raya, Halun, Kuntre, and Ureko. These four beings are the descendants of Titan, the creator of the universe. Raya, the one who rules the Earth. Halun, the one who rules the Moon. Kuntre, the one who rules the Heavens (AKA Queendome). Ureko, the one who ruled the Humans.

What would happen if they were to have their own children and experience the life of parenthood?

The four powerful siblings were once close, but because of complicated reasons they fell apart. Perhaps their children will be the ones to save their broken family of Gods and Goddesses.

In a certain Chinese empire years ago there was brave warrior favored greatly by the emperor. He had accomplished many feats in battle. So, when the land around them was discovered to be dying by drought he was the first one called.

In order for his country to be saved, he must travel far to find the mystic Goddess whose one tear can cure the dry curse that has been placed upon his country.

I had made a poem called Heathers and Penguin Daddy in 2015 as a contest entry at the same time as a dedication to someone, but now that it's 2019 I realized that some things have changed. I made this as a reprise in order to contrast the poem that I made then as a comparison of the result that time has produced.
