I wrote this for the contest: Through a desert, but the story ended up too long. So I split it in half. This is the full story.

We were staring at uncertainty. Uncertainty of our success, uncertainty of our survival, uncertainty of what awaits us on the others side. I took a deep breath and with a single step, I was inside.

With all creation being threaten by the ancient war that destroyed heaven, an unlikely group will have to come together and unite the fallen. These strange heroes include the vampire like creature (jokingly name Elvira), the ancient demon Dahlia, and the human soldier Robert. Soon they will find that the world has literally gone to hell and have to deal with the end to angels

In the post society world ravage by both supernatural and natural threats, a man must journey to save his village from the second coming of humanity, the evolution of man. 

Once a farmer from a humble beginning, he was thrusted into a unkind and uncaring universe by a failing government. After being at the mercy of fate,  he is taken in by a nobleman. During this time, government is being target by unknown organization who perticipating in terror campaign and he is smack dab in the middle of the conflict. Task to uncover the organization true identity, he finds himself choosing sides in a ever darker series of events.
