(Ace Katsuro)
I didn’t want to kill her. Even though she invaded my space and probably had the intention of exposing me, I needed to get away from her. I was alone in the forest. I mean, I had always been. But this time, I had no hideout anymore. All of my disguises, the food I kept, it was all gone. I sighed. I’d have to make another one. One that’s more camouflaged, maybe. Before I could do anything, I saw her. Again. She came from behind one of the trees. She had her hands on her hips with a smirk on her face. “‘Sup asshole. Didn’t think we’d meet again, yeah?”
I cocked my head to the side. “I didn’t think you’d be able to walk with that ankle of yours.” She still kept that smirk on her face. “Well, here I am. “Now let’s end this quickly or I’ll end it myself.”
She sounded quite confident for someone to gain such an injury so easily. I almost wanted to laugh. This girl. She was stupid for returning.
“I’ll pin you here,” She explained. “So the professionals can deal with you, since you’re trouble.”
I raised an eyebrow. “And you’re not?”
“Well it seems you have a bigger problem since no one really knows much about you.” She pulled out handcuffs that glowed in red.
I clenched my teeth, before taking a step back. I could fight her right now. But no one can know what I’m capable of. “Piss off!” I turned my heel and sped off.

I know that was cowardice of me, but I had no choice, I thought. No one should know my case. It’s already bad enough that the professionals are involved. I sighed. I should calm down. She was just some girl with a messed up ankle, she couldn’t run that fast. Just at that moment, a wall of ice formed in front of me. My eyes widened in surprise. Where did this come from? Was this her ability or something?
I tried to figure out a way around it but it was too thick and large. That was when I saw her walking over to me. “I may not be able to run as fast, but I won't let someone like you escape. I’m under a time limit, you know.”
I swung my fist to drive into her face, but then I knew. It was too late. It was as if everything around me stopped. Mira’s head ducked low. And before I knew it, I found her fist thrusted into my stomach. I suddenly go weak and heave out a cough. I was on my knees by the unexpected attack. She then clamped handcuffs that glowed in red around my wrists and pinned it with sharp icicle icicle shards to the wall behind me. My arms were raised so I wouldn’t be able to physically attack. She took a few steps back. She knew I was pissed. I shot her a death glare. She then added before turning her heel, “By the way, that piece of ice will melt in a few days.”
I stared at her walk away. Glowering behind her back. Breathing heavily, yet slowly until she was no longer to be seen.
