"Where do we sign?" The only words I remember hearing the rest of the conversation is a blur. I sat next to Raine holding on to her hand firmly. I don't know how long passed, it could have been hours or days I'm not sure, I just didn't want to leave her side.
"Alpha?" lyam's voice emerged through my mind "Alpha it's time, Raine needs to go for her first session"
"Right okay, Can I escort her there?" I ask still firmly holding on to her hand
"No Alpha I'm sorry. I have to take her down myself. She needs to feel alone for this to work." Lyam explains, I thought the doctor would have explained this but I guess Lyam told him that he would do it. Probably wise.
I nod at Lyam, letting go of Raine's hand. I watched as lyam unhooked all of her monitors, he closed up her feeding tube before disconnecting it from the pump. He turned off each of the monitors one by one, he covered her with a blanket and lifted her up bridal style.
"Damon, I will keep her safe. I promise she is my luna but this will hurt her, I'm sorry" With that he walked out of the room carrying Raine away. Guards appeared at the door and closed it, with a click I knew that they had Locked me in here. Obviously worried about how I may react.

It felt like a lifetime before I heard anything, the silence was terrifying since Raine was taken down. I could hear the odd whimper but nothing else. That's when I heard her scream, her screams were laced with pain, fear and a wish. the wish I could recognise as a wish for the pain to end, for death. I threw myself out of the chair and started to beat down the hospital door. The guards quickly turned and grabbed a syringe off a nurse, they opened the door and tackled me to the ground before I could even try to get out the door. I felt a slight sting in my upper arm, that's when the room started to spin, black spots appearing in my vision. Then nothing.

When I open my eyes the only thing I can see is blinding light, slowly my vision starts to clear, I rub my eyes to speed up the process. I can hear slight breathing so I look around the room. As I look to my right in the corner of the room I see Lyam sitting on a leather hospital chair. He's too busy on his phone to notice that I woke up.
"Lyam, how long have I been out?" I ask making him jump throwing his phone in the air.

"Dude! Don't do that, you almost gave me an aneurysm." He says clutching his chest "You've been out for about 5 hours, You needed it." He crouches on the floor to pick up his phone. "Phew! Not a single mark on it"

"Where's Raine?" I ask disinterested in whether his phone is broken or not.
Lyam looks at me dead in the eyes, fear and concern filling them making me worried that something bad happened to her.
"She's still downstairs with the doctor Damon, We had to stop and move her as her screams were scaring the pups and other wolves in the rest of the hospital. She's okay at the moment the doc thinks that progress is already being made. He's hopeful that he will only need to complete two torture methods" Lyam says
"I want to see her!" I demand "Why did no one wake me when her screams got so bad?" I yell at Lyam furious
"Damon calm down otherwise you'll get another shot from the nurses but for longer, the doc has made it very clear you are not to go near her during the treatment. You could undo any progress he has made. Sit your ass down and wait like the rest of us." Lyam used his beta voice which wasn't as strong and forceful as an alpha voice but I knew he meant what he said. I sat down on the bed and waited in silence.

Moments later a nurse Bursts into the room, panting her face all red and flushed.
"Alpha, it worked come quickly!" I leap off the bed and follow the running nurse down the halls, through the doors to the stairs, we go down about 4 levels to the morgue.
"She's in there go quickly" the nurse says as she points to some double doors. I burst into the room and what I see next shocks me to the point I vomited all over the floor.
