I've been writing science fiction for a number of years now, but I noticed that the books I'd started reading were mostly fantasy. Time to switch and write my other favourite genre. I love magic and psychic abilities, so I've included both.

Just as she thinks she’s convinced the doctors that she is fine now, a dark-haired ghost with dreamy brown eyes rushes in and ruins everything.

She is sent to a halfway house that helps people with mental illness assimilate back into society. But then she hurts someone using magic she didn’t know she possessed. Now she has a new problem. She will have to learn to control her magic.

She discovers that the town has secrets of its own and there are people going missing. How far are people willing to go to destroy what they are afraid of? Maddie and her handsome spirit might just find out first-hand.

The Unlikely Encounter

In the heart of the dense forest, under the shadow of the full moon, a lone wolf prowled, its senses heightened by the scent of blood lingering in the air. Meanwhile, deep within the ancient castle nestled on the edge of the woods, a vampire stirred from his slumber, drawn by the primal call of the hunt.

Little did they know, fate had woven their paths together, destined for a clash that would shake the foundations of their supernatural worlds.

As the wolf ventured deeper into the forest, its keen instincts warned of an impending danger. It paused, ears perked, as a dark figure emerged from the mist, revealing the silhouette of the vampire, his eyes glinting with hunger and malice.

Their eyes locked in a primal standoff, the tension thickening with each passing moment. Neither willing to back down, they prepared for the inevitable clash, unaware of the greater forces at play and the secrets hidden within their own pasts.

And so, with a fierce growl and a menacing hiss, the kurt and the vampire charged towards each other, marking the beginning of an epic battle that would test their strength, their resolve, and ultimately, their very existence.

Imagine a life whereby you have a unique ability, a superpower, and to some extent a curse, imagine a life where you aren't normal and no matter how hard you try you just tend to stand out and capture people's attention ( and mind you it's not every attention that's positive), a life that sucks so bad to the extent that you can't walk on the street without getting weird glances and secret whispers. Well, if you can imagine that, then I guess you'd have an idea how the life of Jasmine Brown and Kyle Robertson's looks like. A long time ago, there was a planet on the surface of which a real living Heart was beating. Each of its beat gave life to many wonderful creatures, and humans were no exception. Once, during a mountain collapse, they became afraid that something might happen to the Heart, and built a fence around it. And they started arguing about who is the worthiest defender of the Heart. The fence turned into a wall, and the city rose very quickly around it. Everything that people came up with was immediately brought to life by the love of the Heart. So, they created dolls to help themselves, which significantly accelerated the construction. In the time that was freed up, people took up the war. One day they closed the Heart completely, erecting a dome over it. Miracles stopped happening, and the dolls stopped coming to life. People blamed magical creatures for this and began hunting them. And in order not to stop the construction, they began to chip off pieces of the Heart and insert them into their mechanisms. The city continued to grow. Centuries have passed. The city has propped up the sky with towers. Only fragments of the Heart remained, saturating the black smoke with its breath. Factories that produce nightmarish monsters fed on it. With their help, people continue to wage war with each other for the title of the worthiest defender of the Heart. While it is dying. This is where our story begins...
